Emmy Awards 2021 will kick-start with a live broadcast from the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, September 19, at 8 pm EST. The 73rd annual award ceremony will feature limited participants that will include the nominees and their guests. Cedric the Entertainer will host the event this year.
Emmy award winners Ron Cephas Jones and Jasmine Cephas Jones announced the complete list of nominees for this year on July 13 through a live broadcast. While The Mandalorian and The Crown topped the nomination list, WandaVision dominated the limited series session with 23 nominations. Ted Lasso, The Queen's Gambit, Max's Hacks, and Lovecraft Country are the other top nominees of the 73rd annual award ceremony.

Cedric the Entertainer as host – The actor is hosting the award ceremony for the first time. He said it is an enormous honor for him, especially at a time when the world is depending on television to stay connected as a society.
"Since I was a little boy huddled up next to my grandmother, television has always been my reliable friend...I can't wait to take the stage to celebrate all of the great shows and performances that made us laugh, cry, dance, and sing over the past year," he said in a statement.
Live Stream Details – The 73rd annual award ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from 5 pm PST/ 8 pm EST on Sunday, September 19. The star-studded event will also be streamed live through Paramount+, and it will be available on-demand on the same platform.
People without cable connections can also watch the annual award ceremony live online for free on various streaming platforms, YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, and FuboTV. All the streaming platforms come with free trials packs.
