Finally, "True Detective" Season 3 is on board!
Amazing news for "True Detective" fans, HBO officially announces the airing of season 3 of the show, making loyal fans happy. The show was halted despite having confirmed the lead. This season's installment is being worked upon by creator Nic Pizzolatto with the help of "Deadwood" creator David Milch.
"True Detective", penned down by Nic Pizzolatto is based on a crime drama. The finite series, aired on HBO, covered eight episodes and went on to enthrall the audience.
The second season starring Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdam, Taylor Kitsch, and Vince Vaughn was not much appreciated, as compared to the first season. Although, the second one was banned by the critics, HBO came in full support of the show. As a result, "True Detective" season 3 took a lot of time to get a nod from the channel.
The Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, who portrays Wayne Hays, a state police detective in the crime series centering round a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarksand has been confirmed. The mystery, deepens gradually, phasing out into three distinctive periods, gradually turning back to season 1. Jermy Saunier has been zeroed in for season 3.
"Nic has written truly remarkable scripts " says Casey Bloys, president HBO. He further adds, "with his ambitious vision and Mahershala Ali and Jermy Saulnier on board, we are excited to mark on the journey."
"I am tremendously thrilled to be working with an artist at the level of Maher Shala and Jermey ", and continued "I hope the material can do justice to their talents, and we are all very excited to tell the story," added Pizzaloto.
