Korean boy band EXO topped the brand reputation rankings for singers in July, according to the Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation.
EXO replaced G-Dragon, who was No. 1 in the June rankings, based on participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness.
The institute analyzed 86.15 million pieces of big data from June 20 to July 21 to come up with the Top 25 singers list.
EXO got a score of 7.19 million to become No. 1. The group recently made a comeback with their new album "The War," which has topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 41 countries including Sweden, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Thailand and Malaysia. It also topped Korean music charts upon its release.
"The War" features the title track "Ko Ko Bop" and eight other songs. The album has received 800,000 copies in pre-orders.
The music video for "Ko Ko Bop" has garnered 18 million views since it was uploaded on YouTube on July 18.
Fellow SM Entertainment group Red Velvet placed second with a score of 6.73 million while TWICE grabbed third place with 5.1 million.
