f(x)'s Luna is all set to make her small theater musical debut with Five Course Love. The lead singer of the girl band has appeared in numerous theatrical musicals previously. However, the off-Broadway show will mark her first step into the world of small scale theatrical shows.
The 23-year-old, who has exhibited her incredible musical stage skills in productions like Legally Blonde, High School Musical, In the Heights and more, shared her experience with TV daily. The songstress has worked with many K-pop idols like INFINITE's Sunggyu and Dongwoo, EXO's Chen, Kim Hyung Jun and relished her stint as a theatre person.
Talking about her musical stage co-stars, the singer-turned-actor revealed: "Sunggyu and Dongwoo's INFINITE activities would sometimes overlap with the musical practices. I would text them to update them what happened in the practice...Chen and I would almost live in the practice room, and the producer would kick us out and ask us to stop practicing so much."
Meanwhile, the idol also gave a piece of advice to future musical theater stars: "I want to tell them to practice and prepare a lot. The same goes to idols who are sunbaes but will become hoobaes in the musical world. I also want to practice hard, take care of others, and help out the newbies like I was helped by the veterans," she said.
Luna's Five Course Love premieres in Korea from November 11, 2016 to February 12, 2017 at the KT&G SangSang Art Hall.
