FBI agents raided home of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort

Federal agents used a search warrant to obtain documents from the Alexandria, Virginia home of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort on 26 July according to a Washington Post report on 9 August. Manafort had voluntarily overturned documents to congressional committees investigating the ongoing Russian collusion probe, following the bombshell report that he had attended the controversial Trump Tower meeting with Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in June 2016. Based on the search warrant, investigators may have disputed Manaforts trustworthiness in presenting all records required by the grand jury subpoena. The raid could also be a signal of vigilance from special counsel Robert Mueller with regards to treatment of President Trumps closest associates.
