Music Works, which promotes talented artistes such as Baek Ji Young, Yoo Sung Eun and Kim Sohee, has a popular addition to its list of artistes.
The former 2NE1 member, Minzy Kong, has finally signed an exclusive contract with Music Works to kickstart her career as a solo artiste. Reportedly, the music agency was in talks with the 22-year-old for quite some time.
In an official statement Music Works has confirmed the news that South Korean singer Minzy is all set to join them in order to pursue her career as a solo artiste.
"Our company decided to sign an exclusive contract with Minzy after considering it for a long time. She is an artist who has infinite potential in many aspects, so we will be supporting her activities in a wide variety of areas."
"We're highly valuing not just her talent, but also her politeness and her set of values. We will not be holding back on communications and support so she can grow, " the press release read.
Music Works also added that the songstress, apart from showing her capability as a talented musician and composer, will also take part in the agency's mentorship programme. As per reports on Koreaboo, the K-pop singer will mentor an upcoming rookie group, MYTEEN, which is set to mark its debut next year.
