Samsung has started rolling out yet another stable build of Android 7.0 performance update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with build numbers G930FXXU1DQB3 and G935FXXU1DQB3. The new Nougat update is being rolled out via over-the-air (OTA) in a tiny package whose file size is just 98.11MB.
Given the smaller file size, it is clear that this build is part of the maintenance release with a bunch of bug fixes as well as stability and performance improvements. As the update is available via OTA, you can manually check for the update via Settings > About Device > System updates.
Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users can enjoy three different download menu options while trying to install the new Nougat update including 'Later', 'Install Overnight' and 'Install Now'. Those who prefer to schedule the installation of the update between 2:00am and 5:00am can choose the option 'Install Overnight'.
It may be recalled that Samsung had started rolling out the first stable build of Android 7.0 update for the S7 and S7 Edge in the UK starting 17 January. Some of the key features ported into this build include Blue Light filter, Always ON Display mode, Nougat multi-window support, Samsung Pass and enhanced quick settings toggles.
