South Korean actor and comedian Go Kyung Pyo has opened up about his relationship with Park Bo Gum. The duo starred together in tvN's drama, Reply 1998.
During a recent interview, the 26-year-old actor talked about his bond with the Moonlight Drawn By Clouds star. He said: "I think there's something [between us]. When we did 'The Admiral: Roaring Currents,' we had no scenes together but greeted each other on set. Then we kept meeting through 'Tomorrow Cantabile,' 'Coin Locker Girl,' and then 'Reply 1988.' We did 'Youth Over Flowers' in Africa together too. It wasn't possible not to grow fond of him."
He added: "He's like a reliable younger brother. But there are times when he seems like a friend, too. He's young, but his thoughts are deep. He has a tender heart, too. I'm glad that I was able to meet a friend and colleague like that."
Previously, Song Joong Ki had praised Bo Gum while he attended the 2016 Seoul Drama Awards. He said: "I knew 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' would do well, but I didn't know that it would do this well. I'm sincerely thankful, and want to thank everyone for loving Bo Gum."
He added: "It would be great to play brothers some time, or even two guys that fight over the same girl. Regardless, I would like to work with [Park Bo Gum] in a project."
