The stars of the popular drama 'Goblin' were supposed to go for a trip in Thailand, that was scheduled for next week, to celebrate the show's success. However, four days before the given date, reports started circulating that the trip has been cancelled. The cancellation reports were based on the statements made by the agencies of the lead stars of 'Goblin'.
According to Soompi, the cancellation was confirmed on January 2. Reportedly, the celebrities are too busy with work and therefore pulled out of the vacation. The lead 'Goblin' stars Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na are not going for the Thailand trip.
According to a report in the bitbag, "Hwa & Dam Pictures is the production company providing the vacation for everyone on Goblin Korean drama's team. "
Reportedly, a source said that even they were surprised that the main cast will not be able to attend. In fact, the plane tickets and reservations were already done and were fully paid for.
Fans are also disappointed and took to social media to express the same. Some said it to be rude move, as they backed off at such a short notice. While some noted that Gong Yoo has allegedly not taken a day off after the drama ended. He is may be too busy with work commitments.
However, there are fans who believe that the cast did not really cancel the trip. Maybe, the report was circulated only to make the trip a little more private, so that the fans do not disturb the stars while they are on vacation.
In October 2016 when 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' team went on a vacation in Cebu, fans flocked to the hotel.
