In the third iteration of Import/Export DLC secret features guide, the prolific YouTuber MrBossFTW (aka Ross) has revealed some stunning hidden details along with a couple of bonus features that you might have missed in the latest GTA Online update.
As Ross explains, some of the hidden details that were not showcased in the previous GTA 5 videos have now been revealed in his latest gameplay video for GTA Online.
Here are some of those amazing hidden features that you may have not yet discovered with the latest Import/Export DLC in GTA Online:
Runner 2000
It is possible to use the Runner 2000 as a flying missile launcher while being airlifted by the Cargobob. The integrated rocket launcher is surprisingly functional in this car, even when it's being transported aerially across places in GTA 5.
Except for the jumping and parachuting ability, all the onboard weapons including the machine gun and homing missiles are fully functional when the vehicle is being transported by air.
Rocket Voltic
Rocket Voltic is another special vehicle that can be hooked to a Cargobob for aerial transportation across places in GTA 5. It must be noted that you cannot use the rocket-booster thrust on the back of the car while it is being airlifted.
However, once the Cargobob has detached the car from the hook while in mid-air, the car can fly forwards or go spiralling downwards when you turn on the rocket-booster thrust.
Another key point to note is that the Rocket Voltic does not recover its grip on the ground if it fails to land on its wheels, regardless of whether you tried using the rocket-booster thrust or not. The Voltic's booster thrust also fails to recover or recharge after first use, when all its four wheels are not fully in contact with the ground.
Enjoy insurance waiver on rare special vehicles
All the rare special vehicles that you own in GTA 5 are exempted from insurance premiums. Consequently, griefers can simply exploit this feature to blow them up without having to pay for the repairs and damages to the insurance company.
Mechanic now tweets you after vehicle delivery
Get a personal message from your in-game mechanic, whenever you request the delivery of your personal vehicle to a predesignated location.
Your mechanic will now confirm the delivery of your vehicle with a message alert on your in-game phone, every time a delivery has been completed successfully.
Vehicle Warehouse clothes-changing room
The clothes-changing room in the new vehicle warehouse is equipped with a bed. However, you cannot set it as your default spawn location from the online interaction menu.
Quite surprisingly, Rockstar Games has chosen to drop this one from the list of player-spawning locations in the game, especially given the fact that it is the hub of all player activities for Import/Export DLC missions in GTA Online.
Steal other player's car in passive mode
The game now allows you to steal any player's car in passive mode, especially while doing the vehicle stealing and selling missions in GTA Online. It is imperative to guard your stolen vehicles with a couple of associates, so that you can easily track down your car in case of a theft.
Limit on the high end special vehicles stored in warehouse
Rockstar has placed a limit on the number of top range or high-end cars you can store in your warehouse as some players are employing a deceptive trick to ensure that they find only the top models by quitting the lobby in the middle of a vehicle stealing/selling mission.
Consequently, the game developer wants to ensure that every player gets a mix of top range, mid-range and the standard models into his warehouse garage.
Stealing a special vehicle in a racing circuit
As Ross admits, stealing a special vehicle in an ensuing race would be the toughest challenge in the game.
However, you could just block the path to the finishing line in order to make the driver stop his vehicle. For instance, you can park a truck or a Cargobob (see the video) across the finishing line to accomplish this feat.
Thereby, you will get an easy chance to take out the driver and acquire the target vehicle for a selling mission.
Make money in Mission Haulage
Use the new Phantom Wedge to take the tractor-trailer load to the predestined location in the Mission Haulage, as it enables you to clear the way without taking any damage to the vehicle. Thereby, you can finish the mission quicker to earn bonus money.
Bonus $1,250,000 in-game currency on select game purchases
Rockstar Games is now offering massive $1.25 million in-game bonus cash on select game purchases made on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The offer is valid until 28 February 2017 on all select games costing over $19.99, wherein all the digital codes can be redeemed for in-game cash bonus.
Note: PSN codes are not valid in all countries. So, you must check the code validity of your country via Rockstar Warehouse, before you proceed.
Finally, one of the Massacro cars listed in Ad-Hawk Autos website bears a license plate that interestingly reads "B055", which obviously stands for BOSS. It is anybody's guess that it's the YouTuber's fancy number plate in GTA 5.
