Avid GTA gamers are in for some exciting news as renowned YouTuber MrBossFTW (aka Ross) has revealed all the hidden details and secret features that you missed from Rockstar Games' recent announcement on the impending Import/Export DLC for GTA Online.
It its brief announcement on Newswire, Rockstar had shared just four gameplay screenshots along with some feature highlights about the Import/Export DLC for GTA 5. Ross elaborates on these minute details that were hidden away in the screenshots, but not revealed officially.
The first screenshot from the Import/Export DLC clearly reveals a bunch of old and new cars including the armoured Baller, the Windsor, the Blackfin and the Tyris.
The orange car in the foreground (see image above) is a new supercar whose name has been hidden by Rockstar for some reason. However, it is clear from its looks that its design cues have been borrowed from the Jaguar XJ220, Jaguar CX75 and Ocelot cars. We can also see the spoiler and exhaust mods on the orange car as it looks like a hybrid of Jaguar and Ocelot variants of supercar.
Meanwhile, the blue car on the lift/platform (see screenshot above) looks like a Pegassi variant and it's definitely not the Reaper as Rockstar Games loves to model its cars based on hybrid variants of real life cars.
One closer look at the picture confirms that it is a hybrid of few real-life Lamborghini cars like the Asterion, Herakon and the Centenario. The front part of the car mostly resembles a McLaren 650, while the car also flaunts a newly-designed set of wheels.
As far as the location of the car showroom displayed in the screenshot is concerned, it is now clear that it's not the FIB building as suggested earlier by some tipsters.
Furthermore, one glance at the wall adjacent to the lift/platform suggests that the building has a label called 1B written on one side of its interior walls, which actually gives away the location of the cars inside the building.
There are a few clues inside the building itself, wherein you can notice the reflection of neighbouring buildings on the glass walls. Although the reflection of the image on the glass wall looks blurry, it clearly resembles the Maze Bank building and the scaffolding clearly points to the Arcadia's Business Centre.
Given the circular structure of the building, it is almost certain that the 1B location housing the new cars should be inside the Arcadia's Business Centre.
In the second screenshot (above), we can see the bodyguards in their normal uniforms and one of them is holding a pistol. There is also a modified version of the Tyris car and the location depicted in the image resembles the one at the Pacific Bluffs country club in Chumash.
Consequently, it appears that we might be doing a ton of our missions in the outskirts of the city as suggested in Ross' stunning gameplay video (scroll down).
Moving on to the third screenshot (above), there are no new cars to be seen. We can only notice the Tyris, the Mamba, the 900R, the Fista 811, the Sultan RS, the Blackfin and the Buccaneer. It is not yet clear what the word "Fidelity" on some random number plates of these cars means.
Nevertheless, we will be receiving new body armours as seen in the third screenshot. There is also a hint of special edition cars being hidden under tarpaulins in the image background.
The building shown in the third image looks like an Auto Shop for repairs and storing special cars meant for the Import/Export missions.
Finally, let's take a look at the special vehicle (see image above) coming up with the new DLC. As you can see in the fourth screenshot, the Import/Export update will debut the Ramp car which is inspired by a similar car found in Fast and Furious movie series. The other car being flipped up in the air is the Karin Intruder.
Import/Export release date
Rockstar has literally given away some hints about the forthcoming DLC's release date in its recent announcement on Newswire. The game maker has mentioned that the new update will come out sometime in December.
Considering the recent rumours, the Import/Export update is likely to be rolled out on 13 December which happens to be the second Tuesday of the month. Rockstar is, however, still waiting for the approval of the game content from Microsoft and Sony.
The approval would likely come out in a week's time and that would leave enough time for Rockstar to roll out an official trailer for the upcoming DLC, before its actual release into GTA Online.
The Import/Export DLC is primarily based on the supply chain concept borrowed from the Finance and Felony DLC and hence it is almost certain that the game maker will reuse the same infrastructure and buildings to incorporate the gameplay elements of the forthcoming DLC.
We are very likely to see more Pegasus and military-themed vehicles with mounted weapons for mass destruction as hinted by Rockstar in its recent DLC announcement on the official website.
