South Korean actress Han Chae-young, known for her work in dramas like 'Autumn in My Heart,' 'Only You' and 'A Man Called God,' recently sat down for an interview to promote her upcoming movie, 'The Star Next Door.' Here she also reminisced about 'Sister's Slam Dunk Season 2' and how it made her more comfortable with herself.
As noted by website Soompi, Han Chae-young said, "I feel more at ease since appearing on the show. Before, I was slightly afraid of showing my true self while I was working, but now, that feeling has gone away and I feel more comfortable being myself with whatever I do. I think you could say that I've become more confident."

Chae-young also said she felt people used to perceive her to be difficult and unapproachable. However, as she starred in 'Sister's Slam Dunk Season 2,' she was able to show her true personality on that show. She thinks others look at her more favourably now.
The 37-year-old actress also revealed that she still stays in touch with her Unnies co-stars. Unnies was a special girl group formed on 'Sister's Slam Dunk' reality show by the cast members. "I'm still close with all of the Unnies members. We have a group chatroom and we regularly keep in touch with each other. We don't get the chance to meet up that often though because everyone's so busy. I think I'm the least busiest in the group. I did invite them to the premier of my latest movie though," she said as quoted by Soompi.
Kang Ye-won, Han Chae-young, Hong Jin-young, Minzy and Jeon So-mi had formed the second generation of girl-group 'Unnies' in 'Sister's Slam Dunk Season 2,' with Kim Sook and Hong Jin-kyung returning from season 1. Their official greeting was "Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!, Hello! We are Unnies!"
As for Han Chae-young's upcoming movie, 'The Star Next Door,' it's a story of a top actress who is infamous for having many scandals. She lives next door to a teenage tennis player, played by Jin Ji-hee, who is actually her character's daughter. But for some reason they have kept it a secret. In addition to that, the daughter has a crush for an idol played by Im Seul-ong, who has a scandal with Chae-young's character.
'The Star Next Door' releases in South Korea this September 21.
