Boy band BTS's member, J-Hope, celebrates his 23rd birthday today and guess what? The band's other members and fans have planned a grand celebration to make the day memorable for the singer. Fans of the band, which is also known as Bangtan Boys, were seen uploading videos and pictures wishing J-Hope on his birthday with hashtag "#happyhopeday" trending worldwide on Twitter. In the videos, fans were seen counting down till the moment it turned exactly midnight on February 18 and sang Happy Birthday to J-Hope.
J-Hope also reached out to fans on his birthday, holding a V Live broadcast that started a little before his birthday and counted down to it. Other team members including Jimin, Jungkook, V, and Jin joined him to wish him a happy birthday. According to reports, Jin gifted him a pair of J-Hope name-brand shoes. Last year, Jimin gave J-Hope a pair of the same brand.
Suga and Rap Monster were unable to join the broadcast as it took place during their concert rehearsals and the two were caught up in a meeting. But, they have uploaded photos of J-Hope on Twitter wishing him a happy birthday.
While, Rap Monster uploaded a collage of photos that he clicked on the set of their latest music video filming and captioned it, "Happy birthday my friend", Suga uploaded a selfie of J-Hope dressed as a "mom" for the group's fan meeting video. The selfie was captioned: "Yoon Ji's mom".
"Yoon Ji" referred to the name of Suga's female character from a recent V Live broadcast. In the broadcast, Suga will have to dress up as a high school girl.
Big Hit Entertainment, the official agency of BTS, also uploaded their traditional photo for a member's birthday. It showed the J-Hope surrounded by drawings and messages from the other group members.
