Hong Kong to host annual culinary festival, food and drinks from 26 countries main attraction

The Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2016 will host more than 410 wine and food stalls brought from more than 26 countries.

Hong Kong has a unique festival to enjoy for the visitors who are travelling to the city from 27 to 30 October - the annual culinary festival that will be held at the Central Harbourfront Event Space.

It is reported that the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2016 will host more than 410 wine and food stalls, brought in from more than 26 countries. Moreover, five different culinary zones will be set up for the event within a four-hectare space and it will include wine, beer and cocktails for beverages, as well as street food and a wide range of gastronomical delights.

According to Jakarta Post, among the festival's main highlights there will Chef Gaggan Anand's prepared dishes. The celebrity chef is from Bangkok's Restaurant Gaggan, which topped the list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2016. Also a wide range of sweets and desserts along with Hong Kong-inspired cocktails will be served at the festival.

The festival will mark the beginning of the month-long Hong Kong Great November Feast, in which the city collaborates with the local restaurants to organise elaborate culinary festivals, which is a main tourist attraction.
