Popular political drama "House of Cards" has revealed its Season 5 premiere date and released the teaser trailer on the inauguration day of President Donald Trump, on Netflix. The Kevin Spacey-starrer drama revealed the date with a chilling message- "We make the terror."
According to Entertainment Weekly, the political drama released the teaser to reveal the premiere date of the show, which is May 30. The short video showed not much but an American flag which is hanging upside down in front of the Capitol Building. In the wind, it flaps while the Pledge of Allegiance is recited by the children's chorus.
Well, the threatening trailer of the upcoming season states that the Underwoods are sure to bring terror in this season, as promised in the previous season where the fictional president declared, "We make the terror." The Netflix political drama "House of Cards" Season 5 stars Kevin Spacey who plays the role of the ruthless US President Frank Underwood. His wife, the ambitious First Lady Claire is played by Robin Wright.
According to E! News, recently, the "Moonlight" star Mahershaler Ali revealed that for the upcoming season his character Remy will not return.
The previous season of "House of Cards" ended with Underwoods trying to end a hostage crisis with a negotiation which will be of advantageous for his election. However, what happened was not something pleasant with the terrorists live-streaming the death.
Meanwhile, Hammerschmidt (Boris McGiver ) published an article about the Underwood's dealing with Jackie (Molly Parker), Remy (Ali), and President Walker (Michel Gill).
The Season 5 of "House of Cards" got new showrunners- Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese after Beau Willimon stepped down after the fourth instalment of the show. The show started in in 2013 and has been airing every year since then.
"House of Cards" Season 5 is to premiere on May 30, Tuesday, on Netflix.
