Two HTC-built Nexus smartphones codenamed 'Sailfish' and 'Marlin' had recently surfaced online with their leaked specifications. Now, the latter has been spotted on Geekbench 3.4.1 test, which further confirms some of the smartphone specifications that were leaked earlier.
The benchmark listing now clarifies that the Nexus Marlin phone indeed features a powerful 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 4GB of RAM, and runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
Furthermore, the Geekbench's system info section also lists out some key specs that are in line with the previous leak. In other words, the Geekbench test actually confirms a few of the leaked specs including the QHD touchscreen, 12MP/8MP camera combo, 32GB and 128GB storage options and a 3,450mAh battery.
Among other features, the benchmark also confirms the presence of an USB Type C port on the Nexus Marlin along with a fingerprint scanner on its back. The Nexus Marlin scores 2084 points in the single-core test and 4969 points in the multi-core test, wherein the benchmark results were uploaded on 30 June by primatelabs.
