Overview
After enjoying two wins and a draw in the first four matches, Hull City have failed to continue their form in the recent fixtures. They suffered their first defeat at the hands of Manchester United, with Marcus Rashford scoring a late winner for the Red Devils at the KCOM Stadium.
The Tigers were not expected to perform well this term and their poor display in recent times have seen suffer defeats at the hands of Arsenal and Liverpool. They conceded 10 goals in last three fixtures.
Mike Phelan will be keen to set things right, but the fixture list, where they face United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea in a space of over a month, has not helped their cause. Hull are without a win in last four league matches.
Chelsea, on the other hand are also struggling in the Premier League. After a bright start, Antonio Conte's men have been struggling in the league as they are without a win in last three league games.
In the last two fixtures, the west London club struggled to hit form, suffering defeats at the hands of Liverpool and Arsenal, the same opponents who Hull also suffered two defeats. A victory for either sides will be crucial going forward.
