Overview
Hungary were not expected to finish in top two, especially when they had Portugal and Austria in the same group. However, they have surprised everyone and have topped the group by beating Austria and clinching a point against Cristiano Ronaldo's side and Iceland to top the group.
As a result, they will face the second place team from Group E, which is Belgium. The Red Devils were pipped to top the group, but a defeat to Italy in their first fixture saw them lose the chance to finish on top.
A victory for either side will see them make it to the quarter-final of the tournament. Belgium are the favourites to win the clash, but Marc Wilmots will be aware not to take Hungary lightly after their impressive display so far in the European championship.
