Megastar Amitabh Bachchan participated in an event to mark the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai as India remembered the victims on its ninth anniversary.
Amitabh wrote on his blog: "There is preparation for the event for 26/11 at the Gateway of India, a commemoration for the attacks on the city, its survivors, their strengths and will, decorated, written about, talked about and displayed on that one particular day."
He said the cause is gracious.
"Come if you have the time they, Indian Express invite me to be one of the speakers... The cause is gracious, the vision admirable, and I agree," he added.
The 26/11 attacks involved 10 heavily armed Pakistani terrorists, who had landed in Mumbai's Badhwar Park in Colaba from the sea on November 26, 2008, and attacked several key locations, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Taj Mahal Hotel, Chabad House and Leopold Cafe.
Over 160 people were killed and more than 300 injured during the attack by alleged Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba men on India's commercial capital.

President pays tribute to victims
Indian President Ram Nath Kovind paid tributes to the victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and said people must resolve to take on, defeat and eliminate terrorism in all forms.
"On the ninth anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks, we mourn with the families that lost their dear ones. And we recall with gratitude the security personnel who gave their lives in the battle against evil," Kovind said.
"On this day, we renew our resolve to take on, defeat and eliminate terrorism in all forms -- and to make our people, our country and our world safer," Kovind said in a tweet. India's finance minister Arun Jaitley tweeted echoing similar views:
