Renowned Italian hacker and iOS jailbreak developer, Luca Todesco, has lived up to his promise by releasing the first ever publicly available iOS 10.1/10.1.1 jailbreak called 'Yalu + mach_portal' for iPhone and iPad devices. The jailbreak is based on the recently discovered Google Project Zero exploit, which is compatible with iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus and iPad Pro.
As this is the first beta iteration of the Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.1/10.1.1, it has a broken mobile substrate and hence the latest jailbreak tweaks are not yet supported. Furthermore, it is a semi-untethered jailbreak and lacks GUI support as it is a part of the Xcode project.
Developers and veteran jailbreakers can however go ahead and test the hack tool for bugs and broken features. Interested users may download the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak IPA file from here or use the mirror link here.
In related news, veteran members of the jailbreak community have also hinted at the release of iOS 10.2 jailbreak, following a recent tweet from the prolific iOS hacker and security researcher Stefan Esser aka i0n1c.
