Actor Ji Chang Wook shared his thoughts about Girl's Generations' Yoona at a press conference held for their upcoming drama, The K2. Both the stars will be seen portraying the lead characters in the mystery thriller drama starting from 23 September.
When asked to express his findings while working with the 26-year-old Hallyu star, the Healer actor relayed: "First, our chemistry is great. The chemistry is great with Song Yoon Ah and also with Im YoonA, and we talked at great length on set. I think we became close getting to know one another just talking and discussing the drama."
"YoonA's personality is bright. I think she is an actress who gives laughter to all the staff members on set. After talking to her, I realized that she is someone who is very obsessed with and ambitious about acting and thinks a lot about it. I got the thought that she is an acting partner that I can trust," he added.
Ji Chang Wook will be seen playing a tough guy in the tvN's forthcoming series. As per reports, the 29-year-old will reprise the character of a bodyguard, who has been abandoned by his country and colleagues. Dishing out details on his character, Chang Wook told Allkpop: "Kim Je Ha (his character in the drama) is a cold and unfeeling character but he has a charm that makes you keep looking back at him. And I look forward to the relationships he will form to the other characters in the series."
Meanwhile, multiple media reports claimed that the Sleeping Beauty actor is charging quite a huge amount for his Korean comeback. Soompi reports that Chang Wook's fee for "K2" is much higher than his counterpart , Jeon Do Yeon, from the show Good Wife.
However, Wook's agency released a statement regarding the payout. Glorious Entertainment said: "We do not want Ji Chang Wook's fee to become an issue. In consideration of publication rights, tvN made the arrangement to give Ji Chang Wook a high pay due to his involvement in other projects in Japan and China."
