South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook revealed he is not dating Girls' Generation's YoonA. The duo appeared together in the South Korean television series, The K2.
During an interview with dongA, Chang Wook cleared the romance reports involving him and the 26-year-old girl group member. He said: "The dating rumors involving YoonA are not true."
"I just worked hard and, again, a lot of people came to misunderstand this time. So I thought, 'Again?' and just laughed. I've also talked to YoonA about these rumors and we just laughed it off."
"I always try to be very considerate of the actress. I think good acting results when working together in a comfortable environment. And that also helps to increase the viewers' focus but that tends to lead to misunderstandings. I think that's what happened again this time. There isn't anything special between YoonA and me. It'll be perfect to describe us as close oppa-dongsaeng," he continued.
Previously, Chang Wook had opened up about his desire to have a girlfriend. During an interview with Kpop Herald, The K2 lead actor talked about his future plans. He said: "Whenever I get involved in a fling with somebody, it ends up disappearing. Dating is harder than it looks. That's why I get excited when there's a romantic relationship in my productions."
"I really want to date but I have to fulfill my military obligation so dating probably won't be good for me and my partner," he added.
