Katy Perry is reportedly ready to end her feud with Taylor Swift. The two have been holding grudge against each other since 2013.
During a live stream with Thrive Global founder Arianna Huffington, the Roar hitmaker talked about their fight. She said: "I'm ready to let it go. Absolutely, 100 percent. I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her and I think it's actually... I think it's time."
She continued: "There are bigger fish to fry and there are bigger problems in the world. I love her and I want the best for her, and I think she's a fantastic songwriter and, like, I think that if we both, her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go, like 'Yeah we can do this'."
The Red singer and Perry were best friends for a long time before things got bad between the two. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Swift revealed that the song Bad Blood from 1989, is about a former friend. The two apparently fought over backup dancers.
Perry took a dig at Swift during the 2015 Super Bowl half-time show, which took place on 1 February at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. During the performance, the Rise singer's backup dancers wore high-waist polka dot bikinis, something similar to what Swift had worn while holidaying with Conor Kennedy on the shores of Hyannis Port, Massachusetts in 2012.
