Katy Perry has opened up about former boyfriend, Orlando Bloom's naked paddleboarding photos. In 2016, in some photos shared by New York Daily News, the Lord of the Rings star was seen completely nude during a beach outing in Sardinia with the Roar hitmaker.
During an interview with KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O, Perry talked about the incident. She said: "He asked me if I wanted to be [naked] and I was like, 'oh, nah...'"
"You know when you're dating someone sometimes, it's exciting to be like, 'Oh, should we try and make out over here in this place' or what have you, and I was just not in the mood. I saved it for the boat!" Perry said.
"He wanted to show off for the people on the shore," she continued. "He thought it was funny! Oh oh, it was SO funny because I was explaining Twitter and social media to him for weeks because he had taken a break and then all of sudden he was like trending number one on Twitter! And he's like, 'I understand Twitter, it's okay.'"
Meanwhile, the Pirates of the Caribbean star had also talked about his naked paddle boarding photos. He told Elle UK: "Yes, it was extremely surprising. I wouldn't have put myself in that position if I'd thought it would happen."
"I've been photographed a million times in a million ways. I have a good radar. We'd been completely alone for five days. Nothing around us. There was no way anyone could get anything. So I had a moment of feeling free. What can I tell you? Note to self: you're never free. Ha!" he added.
