TV personality and singer Kim Heung Gook recently appeared on MBC Every1's Video Star, and revealed that he has special connections with the Descendants of the Sun actor Song Joong Ki and The Producers actor Kim Soo Hyun.
According to Soompi, on the said episode, he revealed that he is close friends with the fathers of both the actors, and he therefore knew a lot of secrets about the actors. He even shared a funny story in the show about Song Joong Ki.
He revealed that Song Joong Ki was once being taken home on his father's back after he was being intoxicated. The singer also emphasised on the goodness of the actor by commenting, "He could not be any more genuine and kind."
Kim Heung Gook also took the opportunity to reveal a little bit about Kim Soo Hyun. He explained, "Kim Soo Hyun always followed his father out to the celebrity soccer team. I taught him how to play soccer."
He ended by leaving a message for Kim Soo Hyun, saying, "Let's drink together sometime!"
In other news, Song Joong Ki starrer drama Descendants of the Sun is being honoured with another prestigious award at the 50th World Fest-Houston International Film Festival. According to inquisitr, the Song Joong-ki - Song Hye-kyo starrer drama won the special jury award for their amazing performance and for displaying originality.
Apart from Descendants of the Sun, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds starring Park Bo-gum and W-Two Worlds Apart also bagged awards at the event.
