Kim Kardashian and Kanye West allegedly had a massive fight before the 2017 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The rapper was noticeably absent from the event, leading to rumours that the couple is divorcing.
The two apparently had disagreement over remodeling their mansion, having more children, and her body obsession. A source told Radar Online: "Kim really cannot go anywhere with Kanye because they are not getting along at all. He is always trying to upstage her and they are just not in a good place in their marriage right now."
Kanye also allegedly pleaded Kardashian to stop doing plastic surgery. The rapper's mother, Donda West passed away at the age of 58 after having several cosmetic surgeries.
"She is in complete meltdown mode over the non-stop body shaming she has gotten," the insider said. "She desperately wants to get more liposuction and cool sculpting to fix her body issues and it has caused a lot of tension with Kanye. He refuses to let her go under the knife anymore!"
"Kim is totally affected by all of this and it has caused her to really take a good look at herself. She knows that she cannot let herself go right now because the show depends on her to look good. She cannot stand to see all of this hate she is getting and it is starting to affect her entire life," the source continued.
Kardashian tied the knot with Kanye in Florence, Italy, on 24 May 2014. The couple have daughter North West and son Saint West together.
In 2000, Kardashian eloped to Las Vegas and married Damon Thomas, when she was just 19. They split three years later. In August 2011, Kardashian married NBA star Kris Humphries after just six months of dating. But the couple parted ways in 72 days.
