Cha Tae Hyun has opened up about Kim Yoo Jung's health status. The 17-year-old actress was hospitalized for stress-induced shock.
During a live broadcast on Naver's V Live, Tae Hyun detailed about her health. He said: "Yesterday, Yoo Jung got sick again. I want you all to give her a lot of strength. Please cheer her on."
"If she has a cold, she can't take medicine and has to suffer until her condition improves," he continued. "When I look at her, it is like looking at one of my children, so I am really heartbroken."
The two actors got close while working in the upcoming romantic-comedy film, Because I Love You.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jung's agency revealed the actress is undergoing treatment. SidusHQ stated: "Kim Yoo Jung showed signs of stress-induced shock in the evening of December 26, and was immediately rushed to the hospital. She is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and we will need to make changes to her current schedule of movie promotions and end-of-the-year awards ceremonies."
Yoo Jung was recently seen opposite Park Bo Gum in historical drama, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds. In the hit series, Jung is seen depicting the character named, Hong Ra On, who is a woman but dresses like a man to enter into the royal palace. Bo Gum plays Jung's love interest in the drama.
