Kim Yoo Jung's agency Sidus HQ has revealed that the actress is in talks for an upcoming JTBC drama, which will also mark her first project as an adult. "It's being proposed and under review," the agency told Sports Donga.
The actress is being approached to play the lead in the cable network's 2018 drama, "Clean With Passion For Now." Based on a webtoon, the drama revolves around two personalities— Jang Sun Kyul, the wealthy owner of a cleaning company who suffers from severe mysophobia and is obsessed with cleaning and the carefree Gil Oh Sol, who is optimistic but untidy. The rest of the star cast is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Kim Yoo Jung, also known as "Korea's Little Sister" as she was a child actress, was shot to fame after the success of Love in the Moonlight. The drama was a coming-of-age story and youth romance set during 19th-century Joseon Dynasty based on the novel Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. Recently, she was ranked 8th on Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list, the youngest to be included in the Top 10.
Meanwhile, early this year, the pretty actress was spotted with a sling and cast on her hand at the Incheon airport. Soon, fans started worrying about the health of the actress. Following this, her agency clarified that it is a minor injury and she is expected to recover quickly. Her agency further added that Kim had a fall while jumping over a rope leading to a minor arm injury, however, they also clarified that they will not be any changes in her schedule.
