It seems that the stars are about to align perfectly for top Hallyu actors Lee Min-ho and Song Hye-kyo. It is being reported that two top South Korean stars may appear alongside each other in drama 'The Heirs 2.' Lee Min-ho certainly is very eager to act with Song Hye-kyo.
Website Poor Primadonna noted that there are rumours circulating about 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' leading man Lee Min-ho and 'Descendants of the Sun' leading lady Song Hye-kyo starring opposite each other in 'The Heirs 2.' Lee Min-ho previously shared screen space with actress park Shin-hye in 'The Heirs.'
There has been no confirmation from Park Shin-hye about her casting in 'The Heirs 2' but The Christian Post reported on March 31 that she has agreed to be a part of the drama again because of pressure from fans. The website even speculated that Lee Min-ho's reunion with Park Shin-hye would help him cope with the alleged split from his singer girlfriend Suzy Bae. These are all rumours until proven otherwise.
However, what is certain is that Lee Min-ho really wants to work with Song Hye-kyo. Candymag noted that Lee Min-ho, during an interview with ISplus, revealed that he'd love to work with Song Hye-kyo and would want to learn a lot from her due to her being a senior to him in acting profession.
"I would like to work with my ideal type, Song Hye Kyo sunbae. Although she has an elegant and classic style, her charisma is also strong and her acting talent is outstanding. If we act together, I think I could learn a lot from her. But I'd probably be nervous a lot of times," Min-ho said.
It should be a dream come true for fans of the two actors to see them together on screen. However, only Min-ho has expressed interest in sharing screen space with Song Hye-kyo, who is rumoured to be in a secret relationship with her 'Descendants of the Sun' co-star Song Joong-ki. We don't know whether Song Hye-kyo also wants to appear alongside Lee Min-ho in 'The Heirs 2.' As of this moment, everything is just rumours.
