LG's forthcoming flagship phone, the G6, has received fresh pricing and availability details for all major mobile-phone carriers in the US, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and US Cellular. There are some cool offers and bundled freebies that can be availed through each of these carriers on purchasing a G6 in the country.
AT&T
AT&T customers can start pre-ordering the new G6 via Death Star on 17 March wherein AT&T Next customers can purchase the handset at $24/month for 30 instalments and AT&T Next Every Year customers can grab the phone at $30/month for 24 instalments.
Prospective G6 buyers can avail the early bird offer until 30 April, wherein they will be eligible to grab a Google Home device for free. Among other things, AT&T is also offering the G6 for free when you open a second membership for AT&T Next line, besides an LG Sports Watch for $49.99 on a two-year contract.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile is offering the G6 at $26/month on a two-year contract, which excludes the $26 down payment. The total cost of the subscription adds up to $650 while the pre-orders for the handset will go live on 22 March.
T-Mobile will also throw in a free Google Home with the purchase of every G6 phone. However, it does not provide any carrier-exclusive offers like its rivals.
Sprint
Sprint is expected to offer a speed boost and enhanced coverage on the G6 for a small premium, wherein you are required to sign up a two-year contract for a total price of $708 at $29.50/month. All G6 pre-orders placed via Sprint will unlock exclusive freebies like 49in 1080p LG TV worth $349.99 and a Google Home until 11 May as part of the early-bird promotion.
The pre-orders for the G6 will commence on 17 March with its official launch set for 7 April.
Verizon
Verizon is pricing the G6 at $28/month for 24 months ($672 in total). Both existing and new customers will get a $200 trade-in discount for the G6 in exchange for select phones including all iPhone 6 and later models, Galaxy Note 4 and later, LG G4 and newer, Moto Z series and more.
Additionally, all new customers will get a free 43in LG Smart TV worth $349.99 while those who are switching from other carriers to Verizon will get $650 Switcher promotion and the FiOS promo worth $500.
Quite Surprisingly, Verizon happens to be the first to open the pre-orders for G6 (starting 17 March) while the official carrier launch of the handset is set for 30 March, which is an entire week ahead of the official launch date set for 7 April. So, if you want to grab the handset earlier than the official launch, Verizon would be your best bet.
US Cellular
US Cellular will be offering the LG G6 at the lowest price among all the five carriers listed, besides a unique and interesting promotion. New subscribers can grab the G6 at just $10/month for 30 months while those who pre-order the phone will need to pay $597.60 in full and get a US Cellular promotional card worth $297.60. The pre-orders for the phone are expected to start on 24 March.
Like its rival carriers, the US Cellular is also offering a free Google Home. However, existing subscribers will have to pay up $597.60 or $19.92/month over 30 months. Consequently, if you want to buy the G6 at the lowest price, you don't have to look beyond this great offer from the US Cellular.
