LibreELEC 8.2.0 has officially been released to Kodi apps on the Linux-based operating system. Along with all its bug fixes and security patches, the release is also a great treat for new devices that received LibreELEC support for the first time.
LibreELEC 8.2.0 has been considered by the developers as the "mid-year bump" to beef up hardware support on devices running Intel processors or Raspberry Pi. In addition, LibreELEC supports Kodi 17.5 and Samba 4.6 with the latter offering support for SMB2/3 for the first time.
