Lucy Hale has responded after topless pictures of her were leaked online. The Pretty Little Liars star is the latest victim of celebrity nude photo scandal.
The nude images were published on pornographic website Celeb Jihad after they were reportedly hacked from Hale's phone. She took to her Twitter account to address the situation.
Hale wrote: "Well, I wasn't going to comment on something so ridiculous, but since 2017 is gonna be all about speaking my truth...I'm going to say something."
She added: "Once again, a woman in the public eye was violated, stolen from and her private life and body were exposed for anyone to see. I will not apologize for living my life and having a personal life that is all mine. It's truly unfortunate that being exposed in this way is allowed."
"Thank you for all the sweet, supportive messages I've been receiving. It was a much needed reminder that I'm surrounded by so much love. I appreciate you all very much. And to whoever did this... kiss my a*s," she concluded.
In 2014, naked images of female celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, top model Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst, and more, were leaked online by an anonymous hacker. Following the incident, a spokesperson for the Hunger Games star had issued a statement: "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."
