Manchester United registered a comfortable 4-0 victory over Reading in their last fixture. Wayne Rooney created a history after his latest goal saw him equal Sir Bobby Charlton's 249 goals for the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho had rested several of his key players for the FA Cup third round tie. Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford impressed for United were also on the scoresheet against Jaap Stam's side.

Hull City have sacked Mike Phelan and replaced him with Marco Silva. In his first game in charge, the Tigers new manager guided his new team to a 2-0 victory over Swansea City in the FA Cup third round tie. He will be hoping to get another victory over United on Tuesday.
