James Packer is reportedly upset with Mariah Carey's relationship reports with Bryan Tanaka. The 46-year-old singer and her backup dancer have been spending time together since her split with the Australian casino mogul.
On 29 October, the mother-of-two and Tanaka were spotted together at Catch restaurant in Los Angeles. Following that, the duo spent time together at Berry's Cafe in West Hollywood on 2 November.
A source told Hollywood Life: "James is not pleased about Mariah and Bryan. He is furious and thinks Bryan is a joke. James can't believe that after all he has done for Mariah that she would be messing around with a dancer. As powerful as James is and as much as he would like to make Bryan's life difficult, James is going to take the high road and walk away like a gentleman. James has too much to lose to get in a public squabble with a young dancer like Bryan."
Carey split from Packer, ten months after getting engaged following a fight during their vacation in Greece. There have been rumors claiming that her extravagant lifestyle was reason for split.
A statement from Carey read: "The fight was not because of cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah. James is one of the most successful businessmen in the world. They are trying to work it out but right now they are not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it and plan to release a statement about their future."
