Oprah Winfrey has scored another significant interview of her life with the leaving First Lady Michelle Obama. While the First Lady is getting ready to bid farewell to the White House, she will be sitting for the final one-on-one interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey's interview with the first Lady will be broadcast first on CBS on December 19 and then again on OWN on December 21. The interview is produced by OWN Studios and is titled, "First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House — An Oprah Winfrey Special," as reported by CBS news.
The hour-long special interview will reflect upon the First Lady's eight year long journey, her accomplishments in the White house and her plans for the future. However, Obama has already made it clear in a recent interview that she will continue and focus primarily on her work in public and social domain, in all the initiatives and campaigns she is greatly devoted to.
Much as been speculated about the First Lady's plans for the future with most of her fans urging her to run for the President. But she has already quashed those rumours. In November, at a summit for veteran homelessness at the White House, the first lady finally responded to a person's cry to, "Run for president!" and asked the person to be quiet while she laughed.
Winfrey has teamed up with CBS to conduct the interview and all eyes are desperately waiting for the two biggest female influences on Barack Obama's presidency to sit together for the final interview in the White House. The First Lady's fans are however, looking forward to know about the next road she has planned to trudge upon.
