With few more hours left for the revelation of the 66th Miss Universe, it is difficult to keep calm. Miss Universe 2017, will air live on Sunday, November 26, from The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. This year's event is all set to become the biggest Miss Universe ever with 93 contestants pitted against one another for the star-studded tiara.
Being Miss Universe, has its own perks. The winner will get a year-long salary for representing the title, a room and board in New York City apartment, along with the social duties. The countdown has begun for crowning Iris Mittenaere's successor.
Apart from the major competitors like USA, Phillipines, Venezuela, Brazil, France, India, Mexico, there are countries which are all set to participate for the first time.
Nagma Shrestha- Nepal
The 26-year-old siren from Nepal is not new to beauty pageants. She was among the top eight contestants in Miss Earth 2012 which was held in Philippines on November 24. She was the third runner-up in World Miss University 2016 in China. Her achievement doesn't end here. She was the winner of the Best Tourism Video award at Miss Eco Universe 2016 in Egypt.
Souphaphone Somvichitch-Laos
This is the first time Laos is participating in Miss Universe and their representative is no ordinary woman. This 20-year old from Laos, is a runway model who has also been a part of music videos such as Gup Pai Sah. Souphaphone is a perfect example of beauty with brains. She likes to work for the visually impaired and for the less fortunate children. The beauty form Laos visits patients at the Center for the Visually Impaired. She has done her majors in Business Administration and is all set to rule the universe.

Sotheary is a tough competition and is quite familiar with the stage and the world of glamour. She has been a model since the age of 14 and has slayed the Miss Cambodia 2016 competition completely. The 19-year-old was declared the winner and is now representing the country in Miss Universe 2017.
