Miss Universe 2017 is all set to dazzle the resort city as the 66 edition of the international beauty pageant will be held in Las Vegas on 26 November. The event will witness Miss Universe 2016 winner France's Iris Mittenaere crown her successor.
Manuela Bruntraeger is representing Singapore at the international beauty competition. Bruntraeger, the 24-year-old Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lasalle College of Art, received the crown from Miss Singapore 2016, Cheryl Chou.

Contestants from 93 countries and territories have participated in this year's beauty pageant, surpassing the previous record of 89 contestants in 2011 and 2012. Since most countries in the world will be looking forward to their representatives on the gala evening, IBTimes Singapore brings has gathered all the details of the upcoming event ahead of the ceremony.
Event location
The event will be held at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The three-hour event will be telecast live on Fox at 7pm ET/PT.
Host
Steve Harvey is all set to return to host the most anticipated beauty pageant. He will be joined by the plus size model Ashely Graham this year.
Judges panel
American television personality Ross Mathews, Lele Pons, Jay Manuel, Megan Olivi and former Miss Universes Pia Wurtzbach, Wendy Fitzwilliam will judge the contestants.
Annual National Costume Show
The costume show will be held on Saturday, 25 November, a day prior to the actual event. It will be telecast live on the organisation's official Facebook and YouTube page.
So, Singapore start voting for your favourite contestant to help them reach one step forward to the crown of Miss Universe 2017.
How to vote?
You can vote for your favourite contestant in two simple ways:
1) Visit vote.missuniverse.com, login and follow the instructions to vote your desired candidate. There is a limit of ten (10) votes per account per day. You have to click on "Confirm Votes" button to register your votes. Anyone above the age of 14 can vote.
2) You can also vote for the contestants via Twitter. All you need to do is to submit a tweet or a retweet with #MissUniverse and a hash tag of your favourite contestant's country (For example: #Singapore.) But, make sure that your Twitter account is public. For the tweets, the beauty pageant has a limit of one hundred (100) votes per account per day (this includes retweets).
Voting lines will close on November 25, 1:00PM ET (November 25), a day before the grand finale of Miss Universe 2017. Votes thereafter will not be considered.
