Moon Hee Jun of H.O.T has responded to fans announcement that they would be boycotting him. The South Korean singer received backlash after he was caught lying to fans on multiple occassions.
The 39-year-old singer apologised to his fan following on his agency's official Facebook account. In the letter, he wrote: "With this continuing situation, I've spent a lot of time thinking, and I'm leaving this message with a heavy heart."
"I never thought about avoiding what's been happening. I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out how I can show my true feelings. Firstly, I apologize to those reading this about the controversy. More than anything, I feel as if I hurt the hearts of fans who've cheered me on and loved me. If fans feel the way they do about these past incidents, it's definitely my fault. It was the fans who stayed by my side and always supported me," he added.
Hee Jun shared: "Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today. I really think so. I've been working for the last 20 years, trying to think about my fans first and do well. I think I'm immature and lacking in many aspects because before I'm an entertainer, I'm a person who needs to grow through experiences and learn. I apologize for not being able to express my heart to each of you. If you give me the time, I will try to reach out to you just like the fans who've been by my side. No matter how long it takes, I want to repay you by valuing and appreciating your support, which I'm grateful for. I'm sorry, and thank you."
