Irish singer Niall Horan has launched his solo music career. The 23-year-old released his first single, This Town on 29 September.
During an interview with Sirius XM's Spyder Harrison, Horan talked about latest track and his life after One Direction's break. He said: "[It's] momentous. It kind of reminds me of when we [One Direction] released 'What Makes You Beautiful.' It's a big deal."
"I wanted to kind of let people know that I was up to something, so they didn't think I'd just fallen off the face of the earth," he added. "That's the only song that's actually fully finished."
Zayn Malik quit the boy band in March 2015. He released his first track, Pillowtalk, as a solo artist in January. Meanwhile, Styles will make his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's second world war drama, Dunkirk.
"For the foreseeable, you know, we're just taking a break and kind of doing our own thing," he continued. "But I definitely won't rule that out because it's the best thing that One Direction has allowed us to do things like this, and I definitely won't rule it out. Our lives wouldn't be the same."
"He seems to be good at it," Horan said of Styles. "I don't think Christopher Nolan's gonna take on anyone that's not good at acting."
