Nicki Minaj has been romantically linked to a woman after her split with Meek Mill. The Starships singer confirmed that she is single on her social media account.
Minaj tweeted: "To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u"
Following the news, MediaTakeOut claimed that Minaj is dating a woman, and they spent time together at New Year's Eve party. An alleged source said: "She's a stud. Brownskin with dreads. I think she was one of the girls that was with Nicki on New Year's."
In November 2016, Minaj had jokingly said she had a thing for rapper Young M.A. During an interview with Power 105's The Breakfast Club, Minaj revealed: "I got a thing for Young M.A. for sure. I definitely have a thing for her. There's something about her man [that] I really love."
Young M.A. commented on Minaj's statements saying: "I don't want to assume it's that though... People take things out of proportion. Everybody took it as she got a thing for Young M.A. She didn't like purposely say, like, 'I want Young M.A.' or anything like that... She's just showing love, giving props... Definitely appreciate that, Nicki."
Minaj later took to Instagram to post a photo of Mill with a caption that read: "I love a good joke, but [shout out] to the ONLY human I have a THING for."
