Nokia's upcoming flagship 'Nokia 8' has just leaked online in preview images via Chinese retailer Jingdong.com. One glance at the leaked images suggests that the company has gone the extra distance to unleash a bezel-less design with a premium vibe for the flagship phone.
Mirroring the design strategy of the popular Lumia 1020, Nokia has once again added a prominent circular camera piece on the rear panel of the smartphone. Apart from its premium looks and bezel-less display, the Nokia 8 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Nokia seems to have made a great comeback with the release of Nokia 6 in the budget segment and Nokia 8 will only strengthen its portfolio in the Android smartphone market. The flagship phone is purportedly priced around ¥3188 ($465) in the Chinese market.
As far as hardware specifications are concerned, the Nokia 8 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor chipset and include a massive 5.7in Super AMOLED QHD display (2560X1440 pixels). It will feature a 12MP front camera for taking selfies and a 24MP rear camera with OIS and super EIS.
The phone is likely to launch in two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB wherein both the models will support further expansion up to 256GB via microSD slot.
