Pretty actress has kicked off her Asian fan meeting tour in Hong Kong on Saturday. At the event, the singer-actress performed six songs including a song from her last drama Doctors. Later, she met her fans as Dr Yoo Hye-jung and gave away hand-written answers to her fan's anxious queries.
The session was named as Dr Yoo's consultation section and she was clad in a blue doctor's gown. She also presented her fans a special three-course lunch box that comprised of rice balls, sandwiches and fruit.
She will be continuing her Asian tour by visiting Taiwan next month. Park's agency, S.A.L.T. Entertainment, has clarified that the proceeding from her fans meet will be directed to Korea Food for the Hungry International, a Seoul-based charity group.
"Park had a happy time with her local fans at Hong Kong's KITEC on Saturday," her agency said in a release (as translated by Yonhap News).
On the career front, Park has recently wrapped up her next project Silence (tentative title). The film is reportedly a remake of the popular 2013 Chinese film Silent Witness. The story centres around a powerful and influential businessman's fiancée who is murdered and his daughter is the prime murder suspect. Park Shin Hye plays the role of a strong-willed lawyer who would anyhow try to figure out the truth behind the case. While Choi Min Sik appears as the businessman.
During a recent interview with Marie Claire Korea, the actress said that she was honoured to have worked with a senior actor like Choi. "It was truthfully an honour in itself to be able to act face to face with Choi Min Sik. I was really nervous, but his encouragement became a huge strength to me. He is such a cheerful and fun person [on sets] and I thoroughly enjoyed myself during filming," Soompi quoted Park.
