The Seoul's Metropolitan Police evacuated nearly 150 fans from the KBS Music Bank building following a bomb threat. Today morning the KBS-2TV received a call stating that a bomb has been placed at the Music Bank where Apink was scheduled to pre-record for their show. Following this, the building and fans waiting outside to see their idol were asked to leave immediately. However, police were unable to find any explosives and the situation was back to normal after few hours of chaos.
Apink is all set to make their comeback and has a slew of activities line up in July. However, this is not the first time the group is getting threats. Earlier this week, an anonymous person threatened to kill all of its members. Now, police suspect that it could be the same person who has planted the bogus threat.
In an official statement, Apink's agency, Plan A said, "We suspect the male who sent the death threat calls, then the threat to plant a bomb at their showcase, is the same figure who caused this bomb threat at KBS. We regret that the caller has not been caught yet."
Plan A continued, "The members are resting in their 'Music Bank' rehearsal room. They are worried [about the situation]... We are apologetic toward the other musicians promoting with us and are tired of this. We hope the issue will be resolved well." (as translated by All Kpop). However, it is still unclear whether the Music Bank recording will go as per schedule or any changes will be brought.
Apink made their official debut 201 with the mini-album, Seven Springs of Apink, along with the title track "I Don't Know." To date, Apink has released five Korean mini-albums, three Korean studio albums and two Japanese studio albums.
