The staff of SBS variety show Running Man have issued an apology to the crew. The cast members gathered together during the 25 December Christmas special episode.
At the end of the episode, Kim Jong Kook said: "I thought I wasn't going to see your faces again, but here we are."
Yoo Jae Suk opened a big box, which had a bouquet of flowers and apples, given from the staff, along with a letter. The note read: "To our loving Running Man cast members. We apologize for the hurt and pain we have caused you. We will do our best to be a more mature and hardworking staff from now on."
Jae Suk replied to the staff's apology: "We will work harder than ever in the new year. We would like to take this moment to apologize to our viewers once more for causing them distress."
Previously, South Korean actor and entertainer Lee Kwang Soo had talked about the variety show. During an interview with High Cut, Song Joong Ki's best friend talked about being on the show. He said: "It takes about a day to film every week, but it has become a part of my life. It's the equivalent of waking up in the morning and drinking water. It just feels natural."
Kwang Soo continued: "The show has brought me to where I am now. Seeing the members once a week feels so good."
The show will conclude in February 2017.
