New images of Galaxy Tab A2 S have been leaked, prompting speculations that Samsung Electronics Co might be soon be releasing the tablet very soon. This is not the first time the tablet was leaked.
In July, Galaxy Tab A2 S had first appeared on Samsung's official changelog despite it officially unannounced. Based on the previous posting, the tablet was touted to be a mid-range budget device designed for children.

As the Unpacked 2017 event approached, the industry expected Samsung to introduce the device to the public. However, there was no tablet unveiled at the event on 23 August in New York.
The latest image leak, courtesy of Roland Quandt, writer at German tech website WinFuture, has sparked another round of reports that Samsung may indeed be rolling out Galaxy Tab A2 S anytime soon.
According to Quandt, the tablet is likely to arrive in two variants: Wi-Fi only with model number SM-T380 and LTE with model number SM-T835. On board, the device is Android 7.0 Nougat.
In terms of specifications, Galaxy Tab A2 S sports an 8-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixel) display, Snapdragon 425 processor, 2-gigabyte RAM, 16-gigabyte internal storage, 8-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 5000 mAh battery, USB Type-C port and micro SD slot.
Galaxy Tab A2 S price play around US$240 only for the Wi-Fi variant and US$340 for the LTE model. Colour variants available could only be black and gold.
