Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are getting serious about their relationship. An American magazine has come up with claims that the former Disney star is engaged to the Starboy hitmaker, and is planning to walk down the aisle soon.
A source told the publication: "She's told pals that they're planning to exchange vows in August once he finishes his Starboy: Legend of the Fall 2017 World Tour. She knows The Weeknd is her soul mate. And doesn't want to spend years waiting to get married."
"Selena already has a wedding dress in mind. She wants something classic; white, long and fitted to show off her amazing body. She's yet to choose a designer, but Versace, Giorgio Armani and Marchesa are at the top of her list," the insider added.
"Selena and The Weeknd plan to only invite family and a few close friends. Selena's cousin Priscilla DeLeon will be the maid of honor and her little sister, Gracie Teefey, will be a flower girl. It's going to be very small," the source continued.
Rumours that The Weeknd and Justin Bieber's former girlfriend are dating started after the two were seen kissing while leaving dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant on 10 January in Santa Monica, California. On 26 January, the two were spotted together in Florence, Italy.
Meanwhile, Gomez had previously revealed that she is unhappy with the constant scrutiny about her relationship with Bieber. She told W magazine: "I'm so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can't do it anymore."
"To me it was: I'm 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn't know where to go," Gomez added.
