Actress Song Hye Kyo of "Descendants of the Sun" posted a photo of Christmas tree on Instagram with no caption, triggering rumours of her break-up with co-star and heart-throbe Song Joong-ki.
The post got over 330,000 views and more than 2,000 comments and it gave rise to speculation among fans regarding the status of her deemed romantic relationship with Song Joong-ki.
A few months back, a fan's comment hinted at a romantic relationship between the actress and Song Joong-ki. Now, a fan on Instagram hinted that may be the celebrities have broken up. However, the stars of "Descendants of the Sun" have never admitted they are in a relationship.

The comment which hinted their breakup reads: "After break-up, we cannot be enemy, cos we had been in love. After a break-up, we cannot be friends, cos I had hurt you. Now we're becoming the very strangers who know each other so much." She then added, "You will meet a better man, I sure."
It is not sure whether the fan is referring to Song Joong-ki or not. Another fan wrote emphatically: "May you always bring our love with you wherever you go and whatever you do. As your fans through the years, we cried with you, smiled for you, cheered for you, prayed for you and dreamt with you. Our simple joy would be to see you happy amd contented with what God has in store for you. Saranghamnida, unnie!"

The comments did not directly confirm anything but slight hints on the 'break up' was dropped. Inquistr also hinted that the stars of "Descendants of the Sun" Song Joong and Song Hye Kyo are going through some tough time. The website reported that the popular couple has broken up because of some differences.
The "almighty couple" as referred by Korean actor Park Bo-gum has always been by the side of each other on the difficult situation. In fact, Song Joong-ki admitted the fact that Song Hye-kyo was a source of inspiration to him.
According to Inquisitr, Song Joong-ki said: "I think Song Hye-kyo influenced me the most, as she spent most of her time with me during the filming. She was always considerate of everyone around her and her behavior is a living proof of why she is such a great star. Actually, she filmed all the difficult scenes when I was in bed due to the injury. She was under a lot of pressure, but she volunteered to do it."
Since neither admitted to their relationship, there is no specific confirmation about their break up too.
