Singapore: Man injured after falling from fourth floor at Orchard Central

The Singapore Civil Defence Force says the man was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

A man, who is in his 50s, was severely injured at Orchard Central on Friday afternoon in Singapore after he apparently fell from a ledge on the fourth floor of the building. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the man was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Devi Rajaram, an eyewitness said that traces of blood were seen on the ground and the man appeared to be unconscious. "A lot of people were trying to do CPR on him .They kept trying and trying for a good 15 minutes at least," Rajaram told Channel NewsAsia. "He was just motionless," the witness added.

She also added that there was "whitish" debris on the floor. The police has cordoned off the area and investigations are going on.
