The government will release Singapore's third-quarter economic survey on November 23 at 8am local time.

The report will include information and data on the overall GDP performance of the economy, sectoral performance, sources of growth, inflation, employment and productivity in the third quarter of 2017, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said in a press release on Thursday.

Advanced estimates released by the MTI last month showed that Singapore's economy grew 4.6 percent in the third quarter of 2017. That was higher than the gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 2.9 percent seen in the previous quarter.

According to MTI, the sector was supported by strong growth in the electronics, biomedical manufacturing, and precision engineering clusters.

The advance GDP estimates for the third quarter are computed largely from data collected in the first two months of the quarter. This is intended to paint an expected picture of the city-state's economic performance for the whole quarter.
