In the recently-concluded 2016 KBS Drama Awards, the "Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were enjoying each other's company and were even spotted getting cozy with each other.
According to Soompi, Song Hye Kyo was spotted comforting emotional Song Joong Ki after Song Joong Ki was teased by host Jun Hyun Moo for crying during Park Bo Gum's acceptance speech.
After receiving one of the two Male Top Excellence Awards, Park Bo Gum said: "When I was working on 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,' I felt like I was very lacking. But I'm grateful to Song Joong Ki, who gave me advice every time."On hearing the speech, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor got emotional and had tears in his eyes.
According to Korea Portal, Song Hye Kyo was then spotted tapping the shoulder of "Descendants of the Sun" leading man as the actor wiped his tears.
In that night, later, the "Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were seen together on stage as they accepted the Grand Prize (Daesang) Award for their outstanding performance in the "Descendants of the Sun" series.
